We braved the weather and had our annual Easter egg hunt indoors! Thank you to all the families who came and all the volunteers who made it possible!
Our MDO program has open slots in all classes, ages 3mos to pre-k. Call 982-2607 for more information. The program operates on Tues & Thurs from 9am-2pm. Cost is $15 per child with a $15 registration fee.
Services for Mrs. Catherine McKinney are being held through Smith's Mortuary. All services will be Monday, Jan 14. Receiving of Friends is from 12-2 & the funeral is at 2 with Brother Bob officiating. The burial is at 3pm at Cedar Grove Baptist Church. In leiu of flowers the family asked for donations to Alzheimer's Tennessee or Armona Baptist Church.

Day 5 of VBS Mark 10:13-16 -- Jesus welcomes the children (14) "..But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God."
Day 3 of VBS John 3:1-21 -- Nicodemus meets Jesus (16) "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Day 2 of VBS John 4:4-26 -- Jesus meets the woman at the well. "So he came to a Samaritan city called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob had given to his son Joseph. Jacob's well was there, and Jesus, tired out by his journey, was sitting by the well. It was about noon. A Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, 'Give me a drink'."
Day 1 of VBS. Luke 19:1-10, the story of Zacchaeus. In the account, he arrived before the crowd who were later to meet with Jesus, who was passing through Jericho on his way to Jerusalem. Described as a short man, Zacchaeus climbed up a sycamore fig tree so that he might be able to see Jesus.
